Hours of operation-
- Funhouse is open from 7:15am – 17:30pm Monday to Friday except on public holidays
- We offer full and half day enrolments-
- - A half day constitutes any hours between 7:15 – 12:30 or 12:30-17:30
- - A full day constitutes any hours between 7:15 – 17:30
We assist with-
20hours ECE subsidy-
Children three years and over are eligible for government subsidised 20 hours free
ECE. Eligible children can claim up to 6 hours each day, no more than 20 hours per
week, fully subsidised. The base 20 hours is available to all, regardless of income or
employment status.
Family Boost-
Family is a New Zealand government initiative designed to help families manage the
costs of early childhood education (ECE). Family Boost provides retrospective
quarterly reimbursements to eligible households for up to 25% of their early
childhood education fees, after accounting for existing subsidies like 20 Hours Free
ECE and MSD Childcare Subsidy.

WINZ Subsidies-
The Work and Income (WINZ) Childcare Subsidy helps eligible families with the cost
of Early Childhood Education for children under 5.
What we offer-
Meals-
At Funhouse our onsite cook prepares fresh and nutritious meals daily; We cater for
all stages of development- from pureed vegetables for our youngest pepe beginning
solids through to healthy and nutritious home cooked meals that include all the food
groups necessary for a healthy diet . We are also able to support children with
specific dietry requirements and food allergies.
Cows milk
Funhouse will provide cows’ milk once your child reaches this stage, however if you
child requires specialty milk we ask that parents please provide this and it will be
clearly labeled for your child only..
Toileting items
Funhouse provides wipes, powder, and nappy cream but you are welcome to bring
your own if you prefer a certain brand- these will be stored in your child's personal
nappy cubby. We offer the option for funhouse nappies at an extra cost per day, if
you prefer to provide your own choice of nappies these will be kept in thier named
cubby and used on your child only.
Excursions
At Funhouse we are the proud owners of the red 6 seater buggies. These enable us
to take children out for excursions to explore our community, this positively enriches
our curriculum offerings and provides our children with a sense of belonging outside
of the centre.
